At Born to Explore, our mission is to ignite the curiosity and wonder of young minds by immersing children in the natural world. As a dynamic extension of homeschooling, we are dedicated to fostering a deep connection between each child and their environment through hands-on, outdoor exploration. Our program cultivates a love for nature, encourages environmental stewardship, and supports holistic development by integrating engaging, nature-based learning experiences into every aspect of our curriculum. Through playful discovery and meaningful interaction with the outdoors, we inspire the next generation of explorers and stewards of the Earth.

Blaine James
Blaine James is an experienced early childhood educator with a passion for outdoor, nature-based learning. She’s known for fostering a welcoming community that brings families together and supports children's emotional and academic growth. With 15 years in teaching, 8 years managing indoor and outdoor programs, and experience launching a preschool program from the ground up, Blaine is ready to build her own dream. As a mother, she brings a warm, nurturing touch to her work, blending a deep understanding of child development with a commitment to learning through nature.
Creative Director
Holly Bromley
Holly Bromley is an outdoor early childhood educator and nature-inspired artist focused on nurturing creativity and environmental appreciation in children. As the founder of Wild Ones Art Club and a homeschool mom, she integrates outdoor play and nature exploration into her curriculum, believing natural environments make the best classroom. Since 2017, she has taught children of all ages, including three years at a forest preschool, furthering her love for outdoor learning. Holly’s artwork has been showcased in Vancouver Fine Art Galleries since 2018, uses mixed media and natural materials to capture the connection between the natural world and creativity. Her hope is to inspire young learners to do the same.
